You said a red underbody kit is illegal if it's red? I was told different. But if you're right...then is having a red streetglow license plate illegal also? eek.gif

Basically any type of aftermarket light you install on your car (whether it be neon, or custom turn signals, or whatever) can be considered illegal, and you could get a citation for having it on. Chances are, a cop isn't going to pull you over for just that small thing unless you're doing some other type of illegal thing or if he's just bored and has nothing else to do. rolleyes.gif Basically, if you decide to install any type of neon light or strobes, always connect it to a switch so you can indeed turn it on and off anytime you want.

is there ANYWAY POSSIBLE to connect something to those "extra switches" where the cruise control is? i have 4 extras on the left hand side...is there anyway they can be made to "push in" maybe for an underbody kit, or some strobes or anything? So red isnt anymore illegal than any other color?

Get the switches from the right side from a junkyard, copartfinder or st. Charles Auto. You can then use them.

Yes....I have had their kits on my lowrider trucks when I had them. I also know some friends that had their kits and everyone that has gotten and installed them agree on the same thing......THEY'RE JUNK! I know JC Whitney sells LiteGlow and they're the cheapest place around to get underbody kits. Liteglow is not very bright, the transformers burn out quickly, the tubes are very easy to break, and the insulation for the wires is very poor. But you're up to your own opinion towards them. They're smaller accent tubes are okay, but if you're thinking about getting an underbody kit...stay away from them. wink.gif

Just go to the dealer... order the part from them for like $15-20 bucks... then you'll have 4 more switches to play with... That's what I'm having my neon hooked to. By the way 2000Low&Show Now you've got me paranoid, I just orderd the LiteGlow kit... I'm gonna be pissed if this stuff is junk, everyone else I talked to had the same "neon is neon" attitude.... How bad are these things??? should I try to send them back???
