Some of those body mods still live on like it was the first day they were announced. A lot of RD owners out there still modding their cars with that crap.

 

I'm still upset at the 2001 re-design. All kinds of gunk gets caught up in the headlight lens. At least bugs and leaf sh:t aerodynamically fly off the RD1. Alloys look like banana peels from the top view.







The 2001 Tiburon itself is an unflattering abomination, a total design demolition of the suave Porsche-like sleekness the RD1's had achieved.
