Two Tone Paint?
i was thinking that too but then i came to my senses. 2tone is alright if your car has straight hard edges, like the 03and newer tibs, the rd's have two distinct curves on the sides and to try and two tone that properly you would have to follow the contour of the lines. it looks ugly as hell. even if you try and do a straight two tone it would still look ugly because you just threw off all of the curves look on cardomain, there is a pink and black one and they painted it along the curves and looks stupid. dont do it.

You hit the nail on the head man!! I was going to go red/black on my second gen as well.
My friend has a 2-tone prelude and it looks sick as hell, but the prelude has hard lines and is not a curvy car. He used to have a metallic white on top, with a maroon on the bottom with a tribal design seperating the 2 colors. Now he has black on top, maroon on the bottom. I tried to come up with something on the tiburon, but the curves throw off the 2-tone idea.
that is my $.02

i was thinking somewhat along these lines also.. only my idea was.. a full CF hatch, i have CF type r spoiler.. then professional CF overlay on roof, and pillars.. but that idea got scrapped.. now i was thinking of doing the same with the same color as my rims on the roof, pillars..
i say go for it, i like one tone paint better tho.. but if i get the CF hatch ill want it to blend top to bottom more.

A CF overlay on the roof would be pretty cool I think. I saw a Scion XB with a CF overlay, it helped even out the CF hood with the Hatch.

CF roof overlay.... I wonder if my bud could do it. Do you by any chance know the process of doing it???
