That car reminds me of the Italdesign Aztec sports car that came out a while ago...I think there are some pictures of it over on www.supercars.net if you want to check them out. The back part of this car reminds me of it, with those lines where a trunk would be.

Yeah..but who needs speed when you have looks that resemble a lotus or ferrari or whatever. Just get some nice exhaust mods so it sounds really fast, and you're good to go. Think about it though. If a car like that pulled up next to you at the light, and it revved a few times on you, with a really aggressive sounding exhaust, would you dare even think about racing it? Most people wouldn't. Then again..there are others out there that like to see how badly their cars can get beat by a major sports car. rolleyes.gif

Give it time.

With a wider body, there is probably room in there for a turbo application, maybe even two small twins. Regardless, with time there will be some good performance mods out for the 2.7L, and then you'll have some good go to match all that show.

Yeah, that's true. Most people will get scared by its look... which looks like something that costs over $100,000 and one that seems to have over 400HP!

I just realised that the fenders on the Proto tib are like the gorilla fenders, except without the 'gills'.

I thought that Proto just made kits. So is that a totally new car, or are they using a chassis from something else?

With a mid engine design, they pretty much have to be building their own chassis. You really cannot adapt a FWD chassis to handle the change in stress points of a mid engine car.
