I'm sure everyone knows about the 154bhp Turbulence in Korea with the R-Type spoiler, and that little side scoop.

Here it is.

I was wondering if there's some way you could get that on a 2000 RD2?

Of course we know about the Hyundai Turbulence Type R

Came with extra power, those very nice side skirts, new spoiler, and a new unique hyundai type R badge.

thats a better pic..

Those side skirts fit all 96-01 models..

Contact blktibs on this forum for more info.. he is the only one making those sideskirts state side.

No need man...

The Hyundai Turbulence Type R (korean special version) and the Hyundai Coupe F2 (UK special version) received an extra 10 ponies

Same engine, same head.. we just think they had a special cam (more than likely it was the 1.8 L cam tuned).

Nothing else... but that and KOOL BADGES fing02.gif lmao.gif

supposedly they had a special exhaust manifold too.. but more than likely it was just the four branch that the Non-dual cat cars had.

Uhm, I believe it had 17 more ponies (137bhp to 154bhp) and I don't think the gains had anything to do with the cam; it was just a new air filter and a more powerful exhaust I beleive. tongue.gif Both the F2 and the R-Type.

Nice find, Jaws. I LOVE those sideskirts.. my Tibby would look so awesome with em. How about those gills on the fenders? Were they also on the R-Type Turbulence?

I bet. I have one on my green tib, its almost the same as the OBX headers I used to have. That header plus an apex exhaust gave me 17whp. So I really do think it was just that, plus a cam like Jaws said.
