So the exterior plans for the tib have begun, and using my brain matter and looks from my favorite euro cars (british ones mainly) I have had some really amazing ideas for how I want the tib to be.
The good part is that none of these mods are very time consuming or hard but will make my tib 100% unique, I doubt anyone has done this in the UK let alone the US.
I have decided on the FX coat too, I am steering away from pearls because they are hard to get right (one mistake and youre in the crap, I learnt this with the taurus where I made a mistake and you cant fix it because they are irridescant (sic).
Anyways, I wont ruin the suprises yet, I need to talk this over with Art on saturday before checking the list for things I want to do, but rest assured you will have never seen a tib like this one.

Oh ok, I wont keep you in suspense tongue.gif
These looks are mostly british, Art, if you're reading here's what we are about to embark on (cue serious music)
Stage 1
TVR griffith front end, as such - (got the fogs and the grille is waiting to be picked up) 'mouth' area will be black, also a red streetglo will sit ahind it to make it evil when I feel the need.
OEM fogs are coming out and will end up as duct channels to the brake discs. with the same grille over them.
So the new fogs are round and go in the mouth, surrounded by black grille.
OK stage 2, Ford Escort Cosworth hood vents. Again these will be painted in black. Don't ask me what these cost, I dont want to talk about it. My arse is still hurting lmao.gif
OK Stage 3. Black side mirrors, black door handles, remove spoiler completely.
Black tint the OEM tails and front corners/turn lamps. Clearcoat those.
Stage 4.
Alfa Romeo 146 smoked side repeaters.
Stage 5. Flatten white base coat and hit the car with the House Of Kolor F64-6Z kameleon flakes.
Gold flakes that change to red blue and green when the sun hits. You cant make it out in this pic but they do so smile.gif
Fill and shave the rear trunk lock, black plate frames and black plate section in the rear bumper.
And that should about do it. I bet you have never seen a tib that uses those ideas smile.gif

no no no no no. You're looking at it all wrong me lad.
All you need is 5 sprayable quarts of klear (kosmic klear) and 6 ounces of flake for this finish.
As long as your tib is a flat reccomended base (white or black) then you can simply take p400 to it and mist it, from there you put on 3-4 layers of flake covering that base entirely and then 2 coats of klear over the top.
Total cost for paint and flake? $250.

oh, dang, i thought you meant you were buying house of kolor paint.. are you adding any dye? I think you'd be missing out if you didn't put some white pearl or green tint in it.
Excellent price. i didn't know you can get it that cheaply.
