I have a black 1999 Tiburon FX and I want to get some touch-up paint but I am unsure of what the color code is on my car. Is the code listed anywhere on my car? I looked quick but I couldn't find it. When I was at autozone they had that universal black touch up paint but I want it to actually look good. If it is down to bare metal do I need to put primer on before the black and do I need to put a clear coat on top of the black?

The colour code you are looking for is EB. I have this and got it from the dealer. It comes in a pen style and has the colour on one end and the clear on the other.
You should be fine not applying a primer if it's just a chip.

^^^ What He said

ALL Hyundai Blacks are EB
You can find it on the driver's door jam area.

000HC-PENEB is what you want to get from the dealer

Do you think the touch-up paint at autozone is good enough or should I buy it from the dealer? I would like it to look the best it possibly can.

To have it look it's best, I would go with the paint from the dealer. It will give you the best match.
