Default Tiny specs in windshield

Just spent 25min trying to get my windshield clean and for the life of me I can't seem to get rid of a bunch of little, tiny specs.

I've tried using a plastic razor, claying and cleaning with MF and glass MF towels. The windshield is otherwise perfectly clear (no dirt or streaks at all). But in the sunlight there are these tiny little specs that are bothering me.

Appreciate any help.

Those tiny specs are pits cause by debris impacting the windshield at 70+ mph. No amount of cleaning will get them out. Either replace the windshield or just live with them.

^ this . . . after you've tried with a clay bar. After the clay won't get them, they're likely pits.
