I just saw this stuff and thought why not...so i got the silver to go with my black tib...went for the understated look....I like it...has anyone else used it? They also have red, blue, and green in addition to silver...
I have the red, and I use it very sparingly. There's people that have gotten it and globbed the stuff on really bad. rolleyes.gif Looks really bad. But if you use it lightly, just enough so that when the sun hits it, and you see a light tint...it's good stuff!

I put it on my brothers car at a show and it didnt even look good at all. I used green and u couldnt even tell it was on there. And also dont get any on ur clothes cause that stuff dont come out. I learned the hard way and ruined my 75 dollar Dirty Denim shirt.
I've got the green, for my green Tib. I like the way it looks, personally. Haven't tried for the full-on look like is on the package, but I've put on one application, and it looked good and subtle for about a week before it wore off.

yeah in my opinion this thing is best done with more of an understated touch...it's tempting to go "oh cool lets put on a ****load" but i think the more subtle was is best...
Amazingly enough the Tire tint, at my store, is cheaper than the wet tire-look brands. So I had no problems giving them a shot since I thought the spray foam didn't last long enough. I purchased the silver and found it looked cool, didn't come off easy, but honestly didn't give the massive glint the box claims. To acomplish that, you have to use like half a bottle per set of four tires. I never had a problem of them getting on my wheels, especially if you apply them right. In then end, if I would buy them again, I would buy a colored tint. It gives more of an effect. For me it would be red.

well like i said i got the silver cuz i figured i could get the same effect using less than the usual stuff...i went very light with it and it is very understated...you can only see it being silver at certain angles and thats how i wanted it to be...so i'm very happy with the product. pep boys has it for $5 a bottle so i'm thinkin i'll get the rest of it...and also maybe a blue too
i like stuff like this to be very subtle...or else its just another way to be rice, and if i'd wanted to do that i'd have gotten a civic...
