Ok so i tinted my tail lights and the tint cracked! Whats up with that? Anyone know why it would do that? I sanded and cleared it, let it dry, installed, went for a drive, came home, and saw that it was cracked all the way down on both lights.

 

does it look like it 'spiderweb' cracked? if so, it probably wasn't completely dry before you cleared it, or put on to thick.

also, if the surface wasn't completely dry before the paint, when it dries can cause some 'cracks'

 

Did you clean the lights before you sprayed? If there was any type of oily residue on the lights, that will cause cracking as well.
