Every city and state is different, youd have to call your local town hall and find out, there was a post a little while ago and it listed the tint % by state, do a search

Well, if you go too dark it will look straight black and wont really match the CF all that well, but then that depends on the size of the weave.

I have 35% tint on my tib and a small (was 12"x12" of 2x2 weave) sheet of CF held up to my windows was a bit too light, 20% might be good, if its legal where you live.

Yeah, definately don't do it yourself unless you've done it a lot before. I've never seen a good DIY tint job.

Screw the tint laws.. Ive got 15% front/pass and 5% everywhere else on my tib.. Just got my Grand Prix tinted tonight, 5% on all windows (except windshield).. Ive never been hassled even when Ive been pulled over.. Here legal is 35% driver/pass, anything on rears..

Next comes 35% on windshields laugh.gif

its 20% in the UK, Ive been pulled over twice and checked to see... I barely make it. They are VERY strict on some driving laws here. eyeroll.gif
