I"m gonna try something different... I am removing my chrome altezzas and going to remove the lense so I can try to darken them up. Not sure what will work? I might try window tint I have lyin around, or maybe just somekind of smoke paint? If neither exp looks good, I'll just buy the smoked covers ....,I think the altezzas will look good smoked(better than stock smoked)... IF I ruin them .oh well. sick of the chrome anyway
ps been playin with halos lately, hmmmm halos in the tails?!?!?

Anyone have any advice on doing something like this??

Why not just buy a set of the ones you want and sell these?

I thought about haloz in the tails. Definitely possible. Make some red rings to go around the smaller circles and tap them into the running lights... make sure you stay legal though.

match the inside of the assembly to the paint on your car. i keep telling people this but nobody does it. it'll look like ferrari f50 lights. try photochopping that idea!

I might be able to help if you can give me the specs on the inside diameter of the rings. It looks like it'll be a pretty big ring. I could have you get a set at half off to do the testing. I have an RD2 now for stuff like this, but no alteza lights.

Chris,
I have the exact same altezzas pictured if you want me to send you those to do some testing on, only if you promise to send them back when you're done. I don't have them on the car anymore, so I could send ASAP.
