Default Swirls and spots.

Ok they guy who had the car before me must not looked after the paint very well there or swirls and white spots all over the paint work. the worst is on the bonnet here some photos dont think you can see em good in photos cos of the reflection but any ways.. whats the best way to remove them?

I'm seeing at the very least what looks like water spots. If you spend a few hours with a clay bar, does that funkiness remain in the paint?



It can be fixed even if it's damaged clearcoat, just look at the last couple cars Detailer's Domain posted about. It just takes (a lot of) work.

Hi thanks for the reply yeah i i think the last pic is just water spots but the other 2 or really bad swirls i shall have a look into this clay bar stuff.

Definitely clay bar it, or get some good rubbing compound and polishing compound. I would just test it first to see how thick the paint is before removing any layers of clear. Any professional detailer should be able to measure the thickness of the paint for you.
