Default Strobe lights

i want to hook up my strobe lights to my stock alarm but i want them to go off only when the alarm gets activated and then turned off when the alarm is disarmed. anyone have any clue as to what wire or even a diy i can read up on to help me out.

just a thought... tap into the power wire that goes from the alarm going to the headlights?



thinking about it, that wire should only provide power to the headlights if the alarm is going off. It isn't sending power when the alarm is silent and car is on, otherwise your headlights would always be on.

It is usually a ground wire that goes to the siren. So you hook up 12v to the strives and ground it to the switched ground side of the siren.

I agree with this, but hook the 12v to the siren not the strives. My alarm had a ground wire that activated it so this setup would probably work for you.
