I have seen that some people have removed the stripes on the RD2. Does this good in real life too? My RD2 is blue. Thanks

Mine came stock with a 2-tone blue stripe 02.gif (or the dealer did it). If thats not bad enough... the dealer that I bought it from put a 1/4" grey stripe of vynal over it to cover it. I went to remove the grey vynal and found it 02.gif

 

are you talking about the pinstripe? just aprk your car in the sun for a half hour and just start pulling it off slowly. no damage to paint... wash n' wax afterwards and easy does it.

pinstripes are pointless on our cars. easy to take off. don't worry about it. they're just stickers. don't be scared to peel them off.

 

heh, in my case, their painted on... not too easy to remove without gettin a new paint job. Brian: If its vynal, you can just pull it off as mentioned above... no need to park the car in the sun, it will come off. (peel slowly and it will come off in one piece).

When i bought mine, the tib had one of those stupid dealer stickers on the hatch. I took a heatgun to it for a very short time and they almost fell off. It was very easy.
