Kind of a convoluted title, sorry! Anyway this is a two part post. I guess my first question would be, in anyone's opinion, is there a decent looking spoiler availible for a 2001 Tib over stock? I know the stock one is moderately goofy looking, is there a swap availible that doesn't look stupid?

After that, what's the easiest way to patch the holes and paint damage left by the stock spoiler after taking it off? Will it require like Bondo, sanding, and repainting or what? Thanks for any help.

1st part, a lot of people go the type-r spoiler route. it was a stock spoiler on certain model rd2 tiburons, so it fits perfect in the stock holes, which is a big plus. i myself am putting a rd1 shark spoiler on my rd2. its a bunch harder, but i think it will look b****in. the spoiler has to be modified to match the contour, new holes have to be drilled, and the old ones will have to be covered up.

2nd part, yes, if you even have to cover the old holes up.

I got a GTR Wing, basically a two pillar shark wing on an RD2 that I personally think looks bangin. LED on it too.

 

thankyou, now here's another person who things rd2 spoilers are just stupid looking. i'd go with the type-r wing or the WW/GTR wing for the rd2. too bad you can't import an F2 Wing because those wings are very tasty although not as drastic and devlish as the shark wings.

any body shop could patch those holes, primer and paint over them if you're ever left with any. it's too bad we don't at least have one more cool looking spoiler...

 

Also I've seen many tibs (including mine cool.gif ) That use the universal Battle GTR/Terminator SHOGUN wing. It flows great with the contours of our car.
