If you do decide to keep the spoiler, I would definitely recommend painting it a high gloss black.

I have already considered taking the spoiler off altogether but to me it only looks alright with rear pods or a lower rear bar.

I don't mind the spoilerless Gen1 from some angles but from others, like this one, it looks a little weird to me...

 

Oz, get eibach pro kit. that will solve that problem lol. i have it and well, i will have photos for you in some time.

I say go with the spoiler. If you add those other black accents then the black middle piece will look alright. Especially since your car is such a dark blue. And no the rd1 doesn't look good without a spoiler. The rd2 might be able to get away with it.

BTW I love that front bumper and the badboy hood. Looks sweet.

 

what if u only painted the inside of the wing sort of like an evo. and did the insides of the posts also

 

your car is GORGEOUS as it sits right now man.. when you install the shark spoiler, and eventually get some type of side skirts, itll be absolutely SEXY. lol

i would paint the middle of shark spoiler flat black, it would look badass..

rd2 with no spoiler looks nice.. rd1 with no spoiler looks reallly weird, IMO.

 

Everyone one on this site & the UK site reckons it'd look better in the one colour (edit: except SOCKS, lol) sad.gif

I'll prolly do that then if/when I do get the other things like the skirts/splitters/rear diffuser, I can always paint the wing part black later on.
