I was thinking about getting the chrome door handle covers from SR (I know SR sucks, but it's not a huge buy) and then try to paint them silver. I have a red 2001 with silver windshiel wipers and grills. Would this look weird? Kinda cool? Or hella tight? The handle covers are $50 so I don't want to try if everyone thinks it'll look disgusting. Opinions please

How about picking up another set of handle from the wreckers, and then just painting them silver. What would be the point of buying them chrome, then painting them.

 

Why get them from SR and worry about getting them when Kspec.com sells them?

 

I could go to the wreckers and try to get some, but is it easy to replace them? I figured it would be easier to just get the chrome covers.

And my question hasn't been answered: Will this look good? All opinions welcome

 

I personally don't care for the look. There is a Galant around here with blue handles and the car is silver, and it looks terrible. But, it's your car, if you like the look then go for it.

Ya, after those pics I'm not even going to attempt it. I'm runnin low on funds and haven't done anything to my car in awhile so I'm trying to find something cool and cheap to do. Oh well. I'll keep looking
