Ok, so I ordered a short antenna for my car, it didnt fit, so i'm sending it back, is there any good short antennas anyone uses or recommends for our cars? I used the search, nothing came up. Thanks.

i've been looking for one myself but i don't like those picante pepper looking plastic things... i'm looking for something classy. good question by the way.

If I cant find any i'll end up probably just shaving it off and get an XM or Sirius and be happy with that.

i got one on the rd1 and honetly, i hate it. i wish it had the original. i can tell radio reception isnt as good. sure it looks cool and there isnt a HUGE difference but id suggest shaving it off before anything else. im glad i did that with my rd2

My friend has a serius in his '84 bagged blazer, it sounds pretty cool. been thinking about that.

Ark has a few.

I run a metra power antenna, but the power is disengaged, so it's down all the time. My reception is better than OEM.

Price was like $49 bucks. I'll hook it back up someday maybe, but it's nice tojust have a little bump down there.

Yeah, it's a bolt on deal.

I don't mean you can just take off the OEM one and this goes in place, you have to run a wire or 2 for power and signal, and you have to adjust the mounts and the gasket.

From what I remember (I could be wrong) the Ark ones have been out of production for awhile.
