Default Sheepskin wash mitts...

Are these worth the cost? I normally use a regular wash mitt or a sponge. I priced these out and they are most definitely way more expensive. So whats the big deal with them and why are they recommended over regular wash mitts?

They are more expensive because polyester pellets to make plastic mitts are cheaper and easier to produce than a slaughtered sheep, is my guess
