Didnt know quite where to put this so hope its right! Ive been looking at installing a shaved door kit and have decided on the autoloc. But just wanted to know if anyone has installed one. Dont plan on taking my handels out quite yet. Car will be getting repainted prolly in march or so and ill be trying to get everything done prior to that. Just wondering how difficult it is to install one of these and how well they work. Thanks guyz

If its a bolt on kit Its really easy to do, Just you have to bring small mod to fenders. I have got a SR shaved door kit and its really good but i have to bring small mod to fenders and it will take about 2 hours smile.gif

^^^ to fender?

Shaved doors are not vertical doors.
It's doors without exterior door handles.

^^^ no problems.

draguntib, do you have cold winter? a lot of snow in winter? Cause there could be some issues with opening doors with shaved handles in winter.

Depends. Sometimes we do sometimes we dont. Car is Garage Kept during winter and ill install an Emergency release in case. And i normally carry a can of De-icer with me so it shouldnt be much of a problem. Just wondering how hard its going to be to install with an exisiting alarm

it wont be hard at all. your alarm does have some accesory outputs right? just hook the solenoid to that through relays, so you can pop them with your alarm keyfob.

if you are buying a totally new kit with a seperate keyfob and all, it wont be hard. you will just have to find a new spot for the reciever.

Its hooking up to existing alarm. Not sure about the accessory lead though. Been looking and cant really find solid info on if mine does or not. If not i will be replacing the brain of mine with another brain of same brand (Autopage) and not going with the whole kit from Autoloc. Thanks for the help!
