Thanks guys. It's still holding up perfectly. Only problem is that if I'm washing my car at the self wash, a direct shot of high pressure water under the pillar will cause it to leak just a tad.

Meh, different companies call them different things. I always thought the GTR was an aluminum wing, no?

What do you mean by "a direct shot of high pressure water under the pillar" makes it leak? You mean into your trunk/hatch area?

No, Zoned.

Yes, companies will call it what they will. I got this wing from SCA.com and the company is Hyper Wings.

And you are correct silvertibbs, when I'm rinsing off my wing with the high pressure hose if I aim directly under the pillar, where it's drilled into the trunk, I'll get some minor leakage into the hatch.

^ Another reason not to use the power washer/public cleaning bays. I distrust them, especially with my new paint.

Just be mindful of the spray eh? LOL

...Am I the first RD2 owner with this wing? There HAS to be someone else. I'm probably among the few, especially without the 3rd pillar.

I put it one on the blue tib just before I sold it.
It's also on Viper's car, and a few others.

Nah, Vipers is off a Rev A Tiburon when they only had two pillars, and it's mounted a lot closer to the rear windshield.

So far the wing is holding up fine. I want to eventually get it molded, but I dunno if the wing is going to be on the car forever? I MIGHT go wingless. What do you all think?

Only problem was in the extreme cold if I were to slam the hatch really hard the brake light would pop out, but I pushed it back in till it made a clicking sound so it seems safe and secure.

Like 95% of the people I've talked to love the wing, except for a few people who said I could probably "fly away" with it on there and that it looks a tad ricey.

I think it looks nice as hell!! I don't think it needs a center pillar on a 2k1.

now all you need is a bodykit, because shark wings look their best with a lower front or a lower body. take my word for it. tis why shark wing look ugly on stock tiburon because there's no balance. but throw an F2 bumper on and you're all set.
