Default Is it safe to use a buffer on vinyl?

At some point I plan on vinyl wrapping my roof with gloss black vinyl. I'm curious about the care for it and havent found much online about the subject. Can you use a buffer or polisher on vinyl wrap or is it too much? Should I apply wax and polish by hand instead? I know if you wash and wax vinyl it can last and look great. I just dont know if doing it by hand or using a machine is the best method.

i use liquid wax like Turtle Wax ICE. haven't tried buffing coz i'm afraid of possible scratches / shifts in the vinyl if i buffer it wrong.
