Default Roof Racks for Tiburon...

Is there such a thing?
I go snowboarding alot, and I just wanted
to know if there were roof racks available
for the tiburons.
Can someone help me with this?
And if there is, where can I get it and
how much is it...
Please let me know as soon as possible.
Thanks.

Yakima makes one that will fit our cars, they can be kinda pricy but I think they are the best. I have one for my mountain bike but it can hold a board or ski's as well.

Thule makes a rack.....I curently use it on my 2001 tib for skiing and biking. It works great but it does make a rather annoying whistling noise. The price for the Mounting feet...load bars...and short roof line adapter was roughly $400.00. Thuke sets there prices so the price is the same from store to store. You would also need to purchase the part to mount snoboards or whatever else you want to use it for.

About three years ago I came across what I think is the best rack for a Tiburon, or any vehicle that has a large rear window. It's called a Cradle Shuttle, the rack sits on the rear window. I first started looking for a rack because I needed a rack for my bike and board. I hated the racks on the top of the car because bugs would be all over my bike at the end of the trip, and the rear mount racks make the bike scratch the car and can't hold a snow board, this one will do both!! After calling places for months I finally found one in a bike shop in Kalamazoo Michigan. The company is called Rhode gear. Hope that helps

I usually go to either Blue mountain, Jack frost/ Big boulder, or Camel's sometimes...
I could fold the back seat and put in my board, but non of my stupid friends have cars, so there won't be room for them
if I did that?
We're all chipping in to get this new roof rack, but they're expensive.
Does anyone know where I can find one cheap?
Thanks guys...

The Cradle shuttle only costed about $100.00 dollers. If you want a rack that costs less then check the newspaper, there's always a couple of racks there.

shirell, how does the rack mount? Is there any drilling? I'm not really cool with doing anything permanent to my car like that. But if there was something that i could take off after snowboarding season, then i'd be all for it.
