Art after my vacation I have been broke ass. Hence why I havent been in touch (no cell credit and no house phone now) ATM I am borrowing (heh, pilferage) the net from somsone in my apartment complex lol..

Cousin has had comcast issues that are now resolved (Ill let you know next time we speak prolly tomorrow) hence my lack of communication.

O.K so I had the best news for my tib in ages yesterday, Tom phoned me and they have now offered up keys to his workplace for when it closes, we have an all out paint booth with extractors the friiggin lot, very excting stuff man smile.gif

So i took the tib there yesterday and FINALLY got the front bumper completed (with the help of Meg, how many of us have GF's who can sand up a storm and dont mind getting dirty??) and here's what I now have, a perfect front bumper thats ready for the flakes laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

Tailgate gets done next weds, weds after main prep and the saturday after that the main paint is going down.

Bumper looks great, Can't want to see it in person (not this month though, I am busy every saturday between here and May).

bout time you got that fixed man, i was begining to think you were gonna just keep ridin like that with bondo and such.

 

Tell me about it man, I almost began to think I was losing heart in her tbh. I cant tell you how many times I have planned to go down to Art's and do that sodding bumper only for it to snow/rain/have no gas money/Art have to work in another state.

That front bumper has caused me serious stress, getting it done was like having a mass weight removed from my shoulders and get my adrenaline going for the rest, I can see the end in sight now as the rest is all paltry (aside from the tailgate, thats gonna be a ho but with the right facilities its really rather nice to work on).

Ive finally had an idea for the arse end too to make it totally unique (thats the hard part, coming up with ideas noone has done before) and I have had another cool idea to make the front end even more unique.

I cant go with trend or take an easy way out, that's been the hardest part of all.. even the clear corners had to have a black trim around them to make them nothing like anyone else has. I have also done alot of fabrication just to make sure that its like nothing before.

I actually got stopped by the law after removing the spoiler for having no 3rd brakelight, like sure shithead 4 aint enough?? Anyways he said that if he saw me again with no 3rd light hed ticket me so I had to think of something. Cue loving fiancee who made me a custom 3rd brakelight, getting it mounted and looking right was also a major pain. But thats the nature of a custom car I guess. You cant have all the ideas at once and get them all done and sorted quickly it takes time. The front end is now complete in ideas, the parts for it are all fabbed up and now I can concentrate on the rear end (fnarr)

Basically when we moved from deptford to here we transferred cable, but apparently they aint sposed to do that so we ended up getting hit with a $800 bill from comcrap trying to charge us for 2 HD boxes we didnt have.. We have fought them tooth and nail since we moved and they finally realised where they had gone wrong.. Apparently the person who used to live here in Gboro took off with 2 HD boxes and the f***ers added them to mine and Brian's account when we moved in.. Bastards.. Anyways it turns out that they had them all along, cue alot of red faces at comcast and Brian and I having to go to Phila to the main office (all 3 of them) and me hollering and cussing at them like only I know how..

We had to pilfer the net for a couple of weeks but it was painfully slow and prone to dropping signal. God only knows where the source is but it was enough to check emails..

I'll call soon, you simply must come down for dinner one day..

I dont know. The cops around here are complete arseholes tbh. That week I got stopped about 8 times and every single time after proving age, insurance, etc they then spent about 10 mins humming around the car so they would have a reason to have stopped me so it didnt look like they were harassing me, and every time they would come up with some shitty gay excuse as to why they had stopped me. mad.gif

I mean I wish they would be honest and say -

"Sorry boss thought you was a kid and I was jealous cos I drove an escort when I was in my teens"

Or

"Sorry, you looked like a flash bastard so we stopped you to harass you"

Or

"I didnt like the fast and the furious"

 

You would think with Rowan university all of 5 minutes away, there would be more people to bother. Anyway, are you still going with that 3rd brake light or are you going to try and the mitsu one working?

I personally would love to drive my fiat through glassboro, bet I would get pulled over for not having my seatbelt on.. hard to see lapbelts only
