I'm in the same boat with my hood. It got damaged in the accident and was going to cost about $350 to repaint. So I just touched it up so I could use the cash to get the cf hood. Which probably won't be for awhile, but that's the plan.

Personally, I'm not into carbon fibre body parts so obviously I wouldn't go for it. But of all the pics I've seen on this site of installed CF hoods, I've yet to see any that fit as well as the stock hood so that's reason enough to stick with the stock, in my opinion.
