rivited?? ouch!! how sure are you, did you try the fishing wire trick? when I took mine + the tiburon emblem off it was super easy. just pealed it off, the dealers were just stickers.
but if it truly is rivited the only path is bondo and a body shop. if you do the removal and bondo yourself it should be cheaper. check with them first though.
I guess you could replace the whole hatch.. more work for you but you might be able to pick up a matching one at a junkyard and make a trade with a little cash as well. laugh.gif

Yup.. Rivets for sure.. Infact, I finally got pissed off and just ripped it out (it was just plastic rivets, do it didnt dmg anymore than the holes they drilled).. And I cant just get a hatch, I need a rear bumper... RARR Body kit time I guess ;/
Instead of just using Bondo. First tack weld the hole and grind off til flat. Then after put a light skim coat of Bondo, sand it all down and primer a match paint. It will hold up much better in the long run.
Well, either way, I still need to find cobalt blue paint ;/ Grrr.. Ill probably just leave the holes for now, they are only about 1/8 inch in diameter, small holes..

humm... just thinking, you could do some bondo, be very careful and only do a small spot and use some touch up paint. then later on down the road get a shop to redo it laugh.gif
the ONLY good thing I have to say about Sport Hyundai Dodge in Pleasantville NJ... they used a vinyl type sticker that I was able to scrap off with my fingernail on the first day I got the car.. guess that counts as my first mod? I probably helped that it was a 100degree day.

You could always use a bandaid LOL But seriously that would do nothing else but piss me off. I wouldn't want to stare at that stupid badge and sure as hell don't want holes in my car.
