Well i really wanted the Blue top but like Import said its for marines and the yellow top has more Cold cranking amps which i need so thats why i went with it...
I think they do sell covers which are blu in color which i may use
Regarding the magnocores they are awsome wires and thats why im sticking with them

the blue top battery is for marine applications duh.... for performance guys its not all about looks like ricers.. lol...

im sure he got the yellow top because that one fit his needs the most..

http://www.rdtiburon.com/index.php?s...9503&hl=optima

the blue top vs. yellow top:

-more cranking amps & cold cranking amps
-slightly lighter
-rice factor wink1.gif
-second set of smaller battery terminal posts.

they say its for marine applications just because its blue. lmao.gif

They have it listed for "Marine" applications because of the extra terminals for accessories such as lighting. Also, it has better power and is DEEP CYCLE (Easily recharged), so it's actually the best one you could get when I got mine. It's got more power than the Yellow for sure, and it's smaller and lighter.

Looks like you're drinking the wrong water.

LOL

Ehh, I doubt it, he probably got it because it said Marine, and didn't check the specs. I've found the Bluetop to be a great battery for everything. I even had it on in storage for 20 months and it started up fine when I came home.

Just do some research on them. I got mine when HA.com was still big and there is a lot of info there.

What makes them great though? I'd like to see some performace comparisons. THey just aren't worth the price to me.

Again though, why? Is the stock one out of your line of sight? Broken? Do they give you different data?

If he went stand alone with the Haltech, he probably lost the tach signal for the stock gage. It would not have been too difficult to reqire it up.. just tedious

Good job 2UNIQ, it's nice to finally see you around again. You best be heading to Hyundai Sunday, it's basically in your backyard and it'll proll be one of the bigger meets of the summer.

How did you get your shizz so shiney?? I really need to do this.
