Ok...I wasn't really sure if this should go here as it's not really a look-to-kill, but it is exterior. Did anyone actually weigh the stock RD2 hood? I've searched HP and HA and gotten everything fron 15lbs. to 70lbs. That's a pretty wide range to choose from if you ask me. I thought I read once that it was like 45lbs. but couldn't find the post anywhere.

 

45-50 pounds would be a close weight.

15 pounds is more of the line of carbon fiber weight

 

My REDZ Mako hood is only 20 pounds, actually a bit less because that was the weight with packing materials.

There was cardboard on the 2 corners and front edge.

REDZ Mako Hood = 19.5 pounds.

 

Thanks for clarifying, I got tired of trying to figure it out online and really didn't want to get my hood out of storage.
