Hey guys. Here are the first images of the new Type S RD2 bodykit. We need to find a balance between the RD1 Type S front bumper, along with the new Type S sides due to be released in the next couple months.
I've made two chops to check out, but nothing is decided yet on the front. However the sides and rear are already locked in on design, and since our RD1 Type S rear will be available in less than a month, we'll just use that along with an OEM rear bumper to make the RD2 rear.
For the front, we'll use an RD1 Type S, and we'll need an OEM RD2 front bumper to make into this, or some variation of this:

I made this one tonight:

This is a rendering of the new RD2 Type S rear that we've decided on:

And lastly the side skirts shown on this RD1:

What we need from you guys is opinions, and we need at least 2 or 3 sets of OEM front bumpers VERY soon. I've had two people let me know they have the RD2 front available, but I need a rear ASAP. Please post and PM me if you have something available, and you can have it bubble wrapped and shipped to me, with me paying the cost of course. Thanks!

Yeah I want to get some sort of design set in stone for the RD2 front. I hate the first pic of it. If you look at all the pics of the Gorilla front lip for the RD2 that the Korean guys all use, its basically a Type S lower section (lip) over the stock bumper. So why not make a great fitting full replacement. We may have to make some changes to it, but I just need clear opinions on what needs to be changed. On the RD2 Type S rear, the few suggestions given nailed down the design in just a couple days, and I couldn't be happier with it.
i like the rear, love the sides and hate the front.. no offense but i dont think that front looks good at all on the rd2. i think something cleaner would look ALOT better..
the studie (type s) looks great on the rd1 but doesn't fit the style of the rd2 very well, IMO.. you could make a new bumper utilizing the stock bumper, and it would still be unique enough to consider it a new bumper..
like a lil lower..

no grill, 1" lower than stock

no misc. light and bigger IC opening, 1" lower than stock

same as last one with the bottom part of the GK gt tech lip

another same with diff GK lip.

That one is better than the first one. It flows a bit better. I would like it more if it still had the opening between the headlights, though.
Wow, Socks is quick. I like the third one he posed the best out all of them.

heres another.. which some NSX side vents would look good on the sides of the bumper

or...

EDIT: if no one knows what i mean by the side vents, i was thinking almost just like the side vents on the ixion front bumper, just a lil less bold of a look.
