RD1 to RD2 conversion

RD1 to RD2 conversion
Well, sorta...
How feasible would it be to convert the front endof an RD1 to an RD2? I realize that a hood, bumper cover, lights, and a pair of fenders would be in order, but would this pieces just bolt into (for the most part) the RD1 mounting locations? Would you even be able to get away using the RD1 fenders? I have NO intentions of doing this, had this thought like 5 minutes ago and just wondered how easy it would be.

I'm never the guy to say this, but I know for sure there are at least 5 threads on this. Between, HP, HA and RD.
Yup, there was just a thread on this last week, I think.

While this is an old topic and a simple search would have given you all the info you need.... you will have to get the following.
Front bumper,
Lights,
Hood,
and the radiator support.
The mounting positions are different for the lights and the hood latch, hence the reason for the radiator support. The front fenders are the EXACT same for both the RD1 and RD2

My question is WHY would you want to do it? The Gen1 front end is so much nicer looking than the gen2!
