Can the clear plastic part of the rd1's headlights be removed? It looks like there are some metal clips that hold it to the grey plastic, but it seems like the clear part is glued down. Is there any way it can be cut away and resealed?

I'm wanting to install some custom (read: ghetto) halo's and try my hand at a diy.

 

Check the diy section man. I believe there is one on RD1 Haloz. The oven is your best friend. Unless you make it to hot.
