^ & ^^ You guys are both bent! wink1.gif j/k

I didn't actually paint the "Hot" part: I marked that part off with tape then painted everything else, so the "Hot" part is the stock aluminium finish.

I'll admit that it does stand out a bit too much for my liking but whatever. I had the heat-shield off for ages but the manifold looks shitty so I put it back on. I've yet to see a conclusive dyno that would justify swapping the stock manifold out (a decent locally-sourced ceramic-coated header would set me back around $AU800) at this point in time. I was toying with the idea of going turbo but it just isn't worthwhile on this car (turbo cost & insurance hike). I'll buy a factory-turbocharged car next time around then just tweak that fing02.gif

As for the corners, I baked them to open them up then painted the chrome part black.

Did you do that on stock corners than removed the reflector?

Oz, you have a beautiful tib with a beautiful color man. what rims do you have on now? stockers? didn't you have some other ones?

Man I still believe that you have some exotic taste like i do. If you ask me though, those eyelids need to peel off man. I neve runderstood eyeliners... kind of makes it look like an old cigarette smoking ex-20's movistar hag wink1.gif don't get the enkei's man... to be honest, get some O.Z. Supertourismo WRC in silver. You'll be happy with those even though they're quite expensive. But they're quite the lookers.

But if you're really hoppy about those 5 spoke rims, one I can't think of right now, it looks like the 2005 Porsche 5 spoke rims... Get something sleek and sexy man, to match the curves of the car.

Methinks you are confuzzling me with col96fx... I've always had the stockers on this car. Anyway, while I do like the multi-spoke design of the Superturismo rims, I still prefer the 5 spokers (that's your fault btw wink1.gif ).

tanc, the stock corners here in Australia are clear... we don't get the amber ones.

hprockets, cheers mate fing02.gif

^ I hear you but I personally won't chance something like that. Some mods you can get away with but an undeclared turbo kit will definitely get you screwed-over if a claim gets put in. Insurance companies are bastards sad.gif

down under they have some serious laws concerning modifications. To the point where an engineer has to sign off on some of them to prove that either the mod was safe or that the car can handle it.

they can also pop your hood at any time. I heard of a guy in Australia who got in trouble for having a v8 in his commodore... when in fact it was a V6. It just sounded mean so the lady cop had him pop the bonnet to take a look. Unfortunately for him, she could not tell a v8 from a 6 and failed his car on the spot for having an unauthorised modification.

Some places.. the UK for instance, they can cite you for not having fluid in your washer or having worn wiper blades... the cops like to write people up for that last one. impossible to prove in court.
