Washing terry cloth and microfiber towels ... Just wash them the same as clothes?

Don't use any fabric softener in the wash or dryer sheets when washing/drying car towels.

... And use the "perfume and dye free" detergent. That stuff leaves residue on your towels that can streak.

I usually hand wash mine with liquid hand soap and let them air dry.
