Im coming home after chatting up this bird and getting her some flowers

Huh? I thought you were engaged?

Oh and the car looks good. I like what you're doing to individualize it.

I was engaged but she made a couple of dumb mistakes and I cant do that anymore..

She went out in her car and rear ended someone uninsured.. So I said (against my better judgement) that I would repair it for her and get her a new bumper.. So then when I took her to a friend's house I told him about her accident and she said "well if you had fixed the brakes I wouldnt have crashed" and that was it, something snapped and I dumped her on the way home.

Im not being disrespected by no woman again.. The odd spiteful comment I can manage, but outright making me look like an ass in front of my friends aint happening.

What makes me laugh is how women always say they want to be treated good and all that, and you do and you give them what they want and then they treat you like crap.

So it was time to move on, got another couple lined up now.. Hey, I wasnt ever an asshole before I was married (infact my ex wife was the first woman I had full sex with @ 25) but the way I have been treated now by 4 women in a row leaves a sour taste in my mouth lol.

Screw it, get what I want and worry about others later innit.

Went to PA to get the rims today, but unsuprisingly theyre not on the car yet.

One of them had been whacked.. I spotted it and Rob gave me $100 off. However, the tire wont stay up so I have had to send it to Subaru to get it looked at. (its leaking around the edge of the rim, should be easy to seal the edge with tire glue)

Im not pissed.. I would have been if I had paid the $500 but Im sure the lads at subaru can fix it.. Friend of mine works there and said he's seen rims 100 times worse on the STI's ('cos they have pancake tires) and they fix them all the time.. Copper mallet and rim glue to seal the tire in. So hopefully I wont have to buy a replacement.

Would be nice to know what happened to it though, gotta say Im a bit dubious about risking my life on a rim that could have been bent to crap.

Ah well, next week Ill have something sorted and they should be on smile.gif

The passenger side door is being repainted next saturday (with a massive thanks to Mad Machine AGAIN lmao) and then I can buff the clear and put on all the parts, and of course add any cleanups and touchups to compete the exterior smile.gif Then I can finish the trunk and build the storage unit and spare wheel carrier I have planned out smile.gif

I was so tired last week I could hardly move, let alone get back to the tib.. Today I got a few things done though smile.gif

First I painted the 4 mud flap things. The passenger side one was covered in bondo and white paint from where my cousin crashed the car about 3 years ago, so they were all in need of paint.. All had some fuzzy scuffs on so I shaved them a little with an exact o knife and painted them, the car looks so much better now smile.gif

I also put some white over the bare patches on the passenger door, ready for saturday when I blow over where the runs were and complete the paint smile.gif

I also found out today that the damaged Tenzo is repaired and holding air. Phew smile.gif

So I also had to remove the grille mesh when it was being painted, and it needed repainting 'cos I forgot to clear it and it had taken some biffs.
I put it on, masked around the edges and then removed it, painted inside the 'mouth' and put it back on. So that's another thing finished smile.gif looks pretty tidy too, very unusual smile.gif

Coming soon, blacked OEM fogs with strobes, plate frame/mesh and black door handles/ rear views with vents finished smile.gif

Why do they call it holographic paint? Isn't it basically glitter? Shouldn't holographic anything contain a hologram?

it's impossible to put into pictures why it's holographic, but the tiny flakes basically do what holograms do.

They shift from orange to green at angles and appear to blur and have depth. Its really cool but so far I cant find a camera good enough to see it 02.gif
