^ Yeah you could do that. Then if the give you a hard time just explain to them that you thought it just had to be visible. If they still give you a ticket put it in the correct position and take the ticket to court. More time and effort but it will look better for the time being. 02.gif

I'm with MAD call your local Dick [police dept.] and ask them or check with a local inspection shop the may know too. If it has to be in the stock location then I would get a thin gague metal strip about an inch and a half wide [mm?] and cut and bend two strips. Attach from under the car with some screws and bend out and up and attach your plate there. Make sure the metal is thick enough so it doesn"t bend in the wind, If you don't have access to a bench vise then you can use a few scraps of 2x4 use them to bend the metal around. You have to be creative. Dont hit the metal directly with the hammer put a block of wood on the metal and hit that with the hammer. Good luck!

There are mounts that spring clip to your aftermarket bumper. There are also those mounts that let the plate bend back under speed so it doesn't interrupt the air flow.
