tiburonmoo, If you are getting a new colour done I reckon you should fork out the extra to get the bay done too... Yellow will just stand out too much. Unless you go for either black or blue for the exterior & make yellow the "Theme Colour"; by that I mean do your interior trim yellow, calipers yellow & all the hoses & miscellaneous parts in the bay yellow to match... I guess that might work.

If cash is tight, I'd recommend keeping the yellow & contrasting it with black or CF. Like this...

If you must paint it & you don't wanna do the bay, here's the crazy Korean alternative...

I did this chop to get an idea of how your car might look in yellow with the Zefiro Turbo kit. It doesn't look too bad IMHO.

For $1500?
I'd probably just get the car painted like a light orange and not worry about the bay, or interior, do the jams. nobody will really notice..
unless you go to shows, then you better do it ALLLL.
but expect to pay way more than 1500 for fitting + a quality paint job.

zoned, that's what I'm asking... how much $$$ should I be gathering up?

OzFx, nice job on the chop man. I just don't want to yank the whole engine out to repaint my engine bay. That's why I keep asking everyone if they thinking removing the hood will give them enough access to apint the bay? Oh, and thanks but I'll have to pass on the black body + yellow hood.
