well, i recently sold my CF hood to get a replacement. i was sick of the CF look and decided to go with FG. i know 90% of you on here will hate the hood, but thats ok, i like it.

i ordered the scoote hood from Chaser. its only going to take 2-3 days for it to get here. fing02.gif

the paint scheme that i am probably going to do on it, will look something like this.



or i may just go with my whole car in satin black for a while to save my pennies for keeping up on the maintenance and such.

i MAY fill in the front scoop depending on what i think of it when it arrives.. it will only be about 30 min of layin FG to cover it up, so im not worried about it.

so, give me your opinions.

 

I don't like it right now, but i'll hold off on my opinion until I see it installed. It's got potential.

 

yeah i'm sick of the cf look. it's just way too popular and i think a car was meant to look like one piece, not pieces. good job. i'd fiberglass tht middle hole in.

 

Middle hole Fg up = Th3 S3xs .. Or however the kids are saying it now. The satin black car scheme would be a bad idea in my opinion though ..

 

if you paint it like that it should be nasty. i never had a problem with the hood, you just need other body stuff to go with it. you cant have anywhere near stock and it look ok IMHO. but with the other stuff you have planned it should come out pretty good.

more i look at it the more i like that color scheme you have going

 

can't you paint over CF? i thing you can if you have your car re-sprayed with black primer.

 

I wont say anything bad, they don't even sell that in korea. i would like to see it installed. it should come out nice. Thats is one resion why i left my tibby with the stock look. i have yet to this day to find any body kit i like. its just to hard to make it look good without making it look strange... but that me. from what i have see from the way you guys hook it up back home.. your rides always come out looking good. fing02.gif fing02.gif

SOCKS they should have took you on that Hyundai day Cottonmouth was involved in. Wonder why he didn't even post anything about that here. He got to chat with the Hyundai reps about aftermarket and tuning. Really boggles me he didn't post up anything here.

 

socks may i make a sugguestion.. do it like this instead of that do this i filled in where you should have them re fiberglass the hood. there are to may holes int that hood.. so the places i colored in you take them out meaning fill them up and make it smooth. and just have them two air duct.. this way you look clean and smooth. and cant give no other shitheads resons to talk shit. like that is so rice.. do you understand what i am saying... keep it simple and keep it clean that is how i am looking at it..

 

reat idea! Maybe the top holes should be fiberglassed and keep the bottom one.
