ok guys just wanted some advice. i took my spoiler off today. and filled in the holes with ducktape and silicone, are there better ways to go about this? thoughts? im going to touch up paint it tomorrow. see how she looks.

Meh, your cars are lucky, you have that little spoiler there on the end of the trunk. We RD1's are too smooth.

IMO it doesn't look half bad.

I wouldn't use duct tape and silicone to fill the holes. Go to wal-mart and get the bondo that has fiberglass in it. It will cost you about $10 but it will do a much better job. Make sure you get sand paper too.

what does that mean. should i take it off right away? im planning on doing it permently this week. with the bondo stuff. then ill take to a shop and get it painted.

I think he means that silicon won't hold paint. As in you will find it to be a PITA to paint over it
