Well here is the car again with the trunk done. and tails back in. spoiler goes back on tomorrow. its coming along nice except for on the left side of the upper hatch(beside the window) i got some orange peel prob. it didnt do this anywhere else. im a little confused about it. again pic is a little dark but you get the idea

oh yeah i think this color along with my kspec smoked tail lenses i got will look great?? what do you think?
im still fairly new to painting autos so if anyone has any idea why i would get orange peel in that one spot? that would be great

looks awesome... looks like gray is the new tib colour. You, TC, and this spring, myself will all have gen 1 tibs that are gray.

 

sweet. maybe we should start a grey tib club. j/k. yeah i love the color just cant wait to finish the car. not having a place indoors to shoot it in is hurting along with weather and bugs and so forth. there are so many variables when spraying outdoors. so far i guess i chose the right days its coming out beautifully. id give my left nut for a paint booth so i could do it all at once

 

you're painting outside? ouch...

i would atleast get one of those picnic/tent things and drape a tarp over it.

 

Ye... I agree lol. Nothing like a big ass beetle in your paint to piss you off on your painting day.

 

Wow! I dont think i have the balls to paint outside. I do all my painting in my garage. But im doing my car in a booth dont wanna risk it! Im sure there is a body shop that woulda let you rent a booth or something for a few hours here and there i know they do around here!
