doing my AE install, got the halos in the bezel now putting the lense cover back on the adhesive material has hardened so it will not close all the way, should i stick it in the oven for like one minute to soften it up then try to close it more again? Or leave it in the whole 4 mins then completely close it?

i would use a heat gun. but if you dont have one very short times in the oven should do. like a minute, see if it works.

go for the power wire to the marker light instead. It's pretty simple and it comes on with the running lights.

DTN for the switch on my AE's it has to run to a constant 12v source like the part after the fuse, what do you suggest to run that part to?

I suggest you run it from the marker lights. If it will run from 12V power elsewhere, then it will run from 12V power to the marker lights. If you're dead set on using constant power so that you have to turn it off manually, then you should run it directly from the battery.

If I ran the switch and spiced it into the ignition wire which runs directly to the battery would that work as well, and the only reason I want to do it manually is becuase, they are 2 color Ae's the white ones are always on, and the blue ones I want to be able to turn on when the car is off.
