Well those who know me know I have a RD1 which I still have but I don't continue to mod. It's close to the end of the line with modding it. Not much more to do that I'd want done.

Anyways I wanted to show you guys the new technology out there with Halo's. These are called Devil Eyes to counter the Angel Eyes. If you haven't heard about them, they use Cold Cathode Technology to light the tubes so they are actually neons with their own power supply and wiring harness.

These can be seen during the day without a problem and they are almost bright enough at night to drive with...

they look good but they really just look the same as angel eyes. idk why they would try to call them something else when its the same part but only with cold cathod lights

 

i guess they just dont want it associated with leds and a tube. regular AE's arent very visible during the day unless they are another color other than white. plus these are super thin but you cant tell that much because of the glare the light puts out.

 

They sure look great. are they much more pricey to make?

I'm sure they cost more to make. Just putting together a good wiring harness with a relay would cost about $25
Each set of tubes also has a power inverter.

I got these on a sale price of $100 from the usual price $170

 

what is with everyone dropping out of the hyundai scene and getting a charger. do those "this thing got a hemi?" commercials really work?

Here's a picture of the 6-Ring kit for the Charger. I took this right after I installed them into the housings. I still haven't taken a picture on the car. lol. but I know other people have at meets. They are SUPER bright.

Well, I gotta get the rest of the kit. Needs the Spoiler and a roof spoiler still. Little bit of work needs to be done to the rear. Then it's going to paint. I'm planning on doing some two tone elements. Or if I can get a paint sponsor, then airbrushing.

I have Tein Coilovers + EDFC on order. Hotchiks Anti-Swaybars waiting in the garage. I gotta a few other mods I need to do, plus add lights/underbodies, etc. I'm working on a Rim/Tire sponsor, then Wilwood BBK, then an Audio sponsor. The guy that did the kit wants to get my car into SEMA if he can. So we'll see how that goes.

and as weird as it sounds...i think im going to bag the charger....especially with the new types of bags they have out nowadays...

do you have any different angle pictures of the kit like the front and rear? roof spoiler? how about a picture of that...

oh and two tone...hell yeah i plan on doing the same...for some reason the lx platform just looks damn good in two tone.
