Default Mother F'ing Grill....Help Please

Alright i painted my grill pieces today all except for the big one right under the hyundai emblem or beside the factory fog lights. I got off all the little metal teeth thingers that everyone complains about but it still wont come off. It appears to have a couple screws at the top but im not sure about that. Id rather some one let me know before i try to disassemble the whole front end of my car to get one little plastic grill piece out.

Yup,

You gotta remove the 2 screws because behind those clamps are 2 more of those friction clips. At least there was on my 2000.

Good luck

Yeah i have a 2000 too. So your saying i have to take out all the little screws that run across where the hood closes (there's like 12 or 13 and the screws back by the tires to get the bumper off just to get that grill out??

My bad, My bad...Those screws werent holding the grill to the bumper...I dont even know why they're there but anyway, I got my grill off and chromed it up real nice today. I also did my mirrors and all the caps in my engine. I never realized how much nicer an engine can look with a little cleaning. Man now my cars awesome!! wink.gif wink.gif

How'd you chrome those pieces, Is there some kind of home use kit or something?

Good old fashioned wal-mart paint. Everything came out nice and shiney and i was going to clear coat it but when i did it took the shine out so im just gonna leave everything un-clear-coated.
