motegi ff6?
As my first post I was wondering if the users of rdtiburon can help me out. I have a friend locally selling a set of motegi ff6 16 inch rims for a good price of $900 plus tires. They are in good condition with no scratches or anything on it havent been on his car for long as I was there when he bough it smile.gif . The specs are below:
# 16 inch by 7 inch wide
# 4x100, 4x114.3 (4x4.5") 4 bolt universal
# +42 offset
# 205/45/16 tires
now i know the bolt pattern is perfect but what about the offset and the width?
are these rims perfect size for my 2000 tiburon or not worth my time?
also was wondering if anyone can find any pics of tibbys with these rims on it. the only ones i could find where 3rd gen tibs
greatly appreciate it!

Welcome aboard..those rims will fit with no problem...make sure he gives you the hub size for the wheels, if they are not marked..you will need hubcentric rings

hubcentric rings make the rim fit on the car
aftermarket rims have a "universal" hub punched out. all cars are different. the ring makes the rim fit on the car properly
if you don't have a ring, then the rims would become "lugcentric", and our cars aren't meant for that...
you need the rings
and can i just say, i've seen the FF6's in person. i didn't like 'em. AT ALL...personally..... make sure you REALLY like 'em before you order them

If, for some reason, he dosn't give you the rings or they're from another type of car that will not work on the Tib, find out the hub size on the wheels and Discount tire or similar store should hook you up with no problem..ask for the metal ones, much better then the plastic rings

now lets say he doesnt have the rings or whatever how much does it cost?
they seem like good rims but like i said i havent found any pics of them on a 2nd gen or at least a 1st gen tib to see how they look.
sorry for all the questions
