Default Moonroof

I bought my Tiburon with a package that did not include a moonroof. But I want to put one on, just like the ones that come from the factory. The problem is that I don't want to lose the light on my roof. Does anyone know if they will have to get rid of my light or will they be able to squeeze a moonroof in front of it? And if I do lose my light, does anyone know an approximate price on adding another light on my car?

The tiburon is one of the few cars made now a days with glass topped windows.

The tiburon is a perfect candidate for T-Tops! It would be more expensive than a simple sunroof, but not much more than a custom moon roof would be....

You would have to re-inforce the front beam across the top of the front windshield, and the beam down the center off the roof...but it would be Bad ass looking shark when you are done.

I'm doing a targa top conversion on my Tib. If anyone wants to know how this is done, let me know and I'll send you an email with what's involved. L8TR....

I once saw 69' bug converted to targa. Fist thing they did was weld the top of the door frames to the roof. After this they cut both the top of the door frame and the roof line. This gave an awsome look but would be difficult to obtain on the long doors of the tibby. How about the retractible convertible "ragtop" look. tongue.gif
