Those hood pins are in a goofy spot. It think they are mounted too far back...but somehow they got them to work...

You know, they do have stick-on hood pins available... No functional use, just for looks.

Also, about misbadging, I agree, but you have to remember that this is Korea, where about half the cars on the streets are Hyundai cars. Of all the sporty looking cars out there, probably 90% are Tiburons, so people do that weird stuff to their cars, not unlike the ricers in the states, so their cars can stick out from the crowd.
