Mighty Putty
if you use something else in the end to permanently hold a piece on, why the hell not! my turby skirts didnt fit worth a damn when i first put them on but since it has been awhile they have finally worked themselves into place, the tops are held on with 3m tape.

i just used some to seal a plumbing leak and for my engine replica project for school. basically saved both days. love it. i wouldn't use it to hold spoilers, but if you break that stupid corner signal bracket, headlight bracket, bumper bracket fine. i'm going to use it to fill in those ugly extra "universal" holes on my rims.

The trouble with plastic body fillers is lack of practice! Seriously. You would laugh at the results the world's best bodyman got the first time he tried to use bondo.
The body work doesnt turn out bad because you dont know how to use a product in all cases. there is a little more to it than that. you can slap bondo on anyway you want. As long as you know how to sand and know when to stop you will be fine. Mighty putty wont be any different i wouldnt think. I havent seen the commercial for it or anything but it would still need to be sanded down to be shaped with the rest of the car. Also i bet it doesnt sand worth a shit, Body fillers are made to sand easy, some more than others though.
