I got some plast-x from canadian tire and it cost 12 bucks and it didnt do a thing to my bulbs. My fogs look like shit and have like a moldy looking thing goin on inside of them too. I think im just gonna get new fogs entirely...Do you guys have any tricks with the plast-x? like how long you leave it on or work it in or the amount you use? OT, I don't see what you can do about your marker lights being so stuborn

^^^ I never had much success with it either my man. I tried everything, including leaving it on for long periods of time before wiping off to no avail.

I just used a microfiber applicator and put on about a dime sized ammount and rubbed it in real good then wiped it off with a cotton towel. Mine cleaned up a bit. I will probably still need to wet sand them along with my headlights and marker lights.

Yeah, I guess I need to refinish mine. Either that or just buying new fogs and refinishing the headlights and marker lights. Theres a diy for it I think but the pics just need to be rehosted. I'd like to see the before and after.

Leaving it on there will do nothing, it's a polishing compound that basically removes a microscopic layer of plastic (an abrasive if you will) and so the way to use it is to rub it on HARD and then when dry buff it off. Art kindly donated some to me a couple of weeks ago and we did mine then (made them all nice and shiny) and then I used it again last night to remove some overspray from the lenses, with a bit of elbow grease it worked a treat smile.gif

I have tiny little rock dents from gravel and stuff so I guess its not as abrassive. Gotta break out the sand paper.
