So lately I've been thinking lots and lots about the car. Next mod is definitely lowering, most likely with H&R/KYB. But now I have decided that my 17" Konig Tantrums have got to go. They're just not my style anymore. In another post here I mentioned that I wanted to paint them graphite/gunmetal but I realized that dark rims on a black car don't really look all that good. Even though these are classic wheels by Konig that are no longer in production, I think I have grown out of them, and hopefully will sell them by the beginning of next year (feel free to PM me if interested) A lot of ricers around here have the same style rim too, the 7-spoke, silver finish.

I found a wheel that FastCo makes called the "Nitro 1", and it's a FORGED wheel, weighing in around 15.5 lbs. That's a dramatic change considering my Konigs weigh 19.2 pounds. x7_xstring has them on his Tib, and they are bronze. Bronze looks damned good on black cars, but then again so does the gunmetal w/chrome lip. They have both of these finishes available and I can't decide on which to go with. Bronze has more of a contrast and would definitely look hot, but I'm afraid gunmetal might look better if I'm getting a CF hood, black housing euro tails, and already have the tint..

Click on PERFORMANCE.. and then Nitro 1

What do you all think?

It's a 7 spoke wheel, but they also have the "Nitro 2" that has 10 spokes I believe in the same finishes. I'm liking that one as well.

black and bronze is hott. Looks like a type of wheel a RD1 owner has on a green tibby.

Yeah, x7xstring, he has a great colour combination with the green and bronze/gold.

I think it would look pretty hot with a black car.

Tantrums are alright. Like this isn't something I'm going to do right away but the Tantrums I see on a lot of ricers around here. And I dont think the white/silver finish goes well with the car all that well.. I think itd look much better with some gunmetal wheels with a polished lip.

Any suggestions for wheels on my black RD2? Something relatively cheap!
