hey guys, i've seen that some cars have struts for the hood so u don't have to use the prop, and i was wondering if you guys had seen/heard anything about one of those kits for our cars. i can't even think of the names of the kits right now, but i thought they were cool and i wanted to see if you guys knew of anything like that?

I thought about doing it once when a pair of hatch struts were available to me pretty cheap. its a good idea and if u used something like that it would prolly be cheap but i dont know exactly what modifications would need to be done to get it to funtion properly

hmm...I've seen it done to cavaliers, mustangs, neons, and others with what seems to be no modifications....check out Redline Tuning I know they sell cavalier kits..*hehe project for me* not sure about tib kits, but I dunno what the big difference would be between all these sport compacts...

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it is. I've had that link for a long time and when I got it I searched for tiburon hydraulic hood lift, and I think that was the first or second link back then. Those gas shocks aren't cheap though. They are usually around $50 but still worth it I think. I haven't done it yet though.
